Sources of Data to Use in Valuesoft

There are many sources of data that can be used with Valuesoft functions in Excel.

Free Data

The examples of Valuesoft templates describe some sources of free data and the way the data can be used.

Sometimes the same site provides data for companies listed on the main exchanges in other countries by applying a prefix or a suffix to the ticker symbol. For example, on MoneyCentral the symbol ARP gives data for the US company American Reprographics Co while the symbol AU:ARP gives data for the Australian company ARB Corporation. On the Yahoo finance site and the Google finance site, the symbol for ARB corporation is ARP.AX.

Instead od modifying the compnay symbol, you can use sites such as Yahoo which have special web sites for other couintries
